ATCO Celebrates Completion of Innovative Site C Workforce Housing Facility

"CALGARY, Alberta – ATCO celebrated the completion of its workforce housing lodge for BC Hydro’s Site C Clean Energy Project today. The 650,000 sq. ft. facility was delivered on time, on budget and with an outstanding safety record. The lodge was completed in less than 13 months, with ATCO’s highly skilled crews performing almost 1.4 million hours of work without a single lost-time injury."
"ATCO created 360 jobs on-site near Fort St. John including electricians, carpenters, HVAC technicians, cooks, front desk clerks and dish washers. The company also employed several people from local Indigenous communities, representing nearly 20 per cent of ATCO’s workforce on the project."
